Dr. Grantham and his Copperas Cove, Texas team is proud to provide the latest in dental technology.  It is their goal to keep comfort, quality, and convenience at the forefront of their services, and the advances in dental technology allow them to do just that.

Here are some of the most impressive advances in dentistry available at Cove Family Dental:

Digital X-Rays:

Gone are the days of darkrooms and bulky x-ray equipment.  Our x-rays are now quick, safe, and convenient. The images are ready in moments and can be viewed alongside the doctor during your appointment.

3D CT Scanner & Guided Implant Precision

Unlike traditional 2D x-rays, a 3D CT image provides important information to Dr. Grantham when planning and placing restorations. He can clearly see and work with your unique facial structure during procedures. You can be confident that implants and other restorations will be placed with absolute precision.

Intra-Oral Camera

The small and unobtrusive intra-oral camera allows Dr. Grantham to view areas inside the mouth with more clarity than a mirror. The images are on a computer screen so he can better view areas of concern. The camera helps Dr. Grantham assess and treat any issues you may have.

E4D Same Day Dentistry

With the PlanScan CAD/CAM Restoration System, driven by E4D Technologies, Dr. Grantham can produce lab-quality restorations in hours instead of days. With remarkable speed and accuracy, intuitive design software, on-site milling, and of course, no impressions or powders, you will be thrilled with the experience. The result is a vastly improved restorative process that gives patients a comfortable and convenient dental experience.

DIAGNOdent Cavity Detection

In order to maintain a healthy smile, the earliest possible care is essential. DIAGNOdent aids in the early detection of hard-to-see cavities. Early detection enables Dr. Grantham to protect and preserve as much of your natural tooth as possible.

Soft Tissue Laser Diode Frenectomy

For procedures involving surgery on the gums or soft tissues, using a laser can be less invasive than other options. Lasers can also kill infections, and heal faster without need for suturing. Dr. Grantham opts for laser procedures whenever appropriate.

Oral ID

Dr. Grantham offers all of his patients free oral cancer screenings with OralID. OralID’s fluorescence technology uses a blue light that allows Dr. Grantham to identify oral cancer, pre-cancer, and other abnormal lesions at an earlier stage.

TScan is a device that helps Dr. Grantham accurately measure bite force over time. The TScan assists Dr. Grantham in helping protect your dental work and natural teeth.

Joint Vibration Analysis

JVA provides Dr. Grantham with a non-invasive measurement of TMJ function to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of TMD, orthodontics, reconstructive dentistry, and sleep dentistry.

DentalVibe is a handheld device designed to reduce the pain and fear associated with the dreaded dental injection for children, and adults. DentalVibe can be used with any dental anesthetic injection syringe to deliver comfortable injections in all areas of the mouth. The vibrations assist Dr. Grantham in keeping you as comfortable as possible.

*Temporary Office Hours: Mondays - Thursday from 8AM to 3PM

On March 22nd, Gov. Abbott announced new restrictions on non-urgent medical and dental procedures so that Texas can maximize its capacity for medical professionals, hospital beds, and the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE).

From now until April 21, 2020, all dental offices in Texas must limit care to emergency treatment only, including our practice. If you have an appointment scheduled, please wait for our team to reach out to reschedule your appointment. If you receive an appointment confirmation notification, please disregard the message.

Please note that effective March 23rd, all appointments between now and April 21st will need to be rescheduled. Please wait for our team to reach out to reschedule your appointment.

We will have limited staff working at various intervals to handle any questions you may have, as well as take care of your emergency dental needs. If anyone you know is impacted by clinic closures and experiencing an urgent dental matter, we can see them too if they are free of symptoms and not under mandated quarantine due to possible exposure.

While this mandated closure is out of our control, we will continue to control what we can: to smile, stay positive, and share kindness as we head into unknown territory. We are confident that the good fortune we have had to deliver outstanding dental care, will once again return and we are looking forward to that day. Until then, stay well.
